This means there is no formaldehyde, toluene, dibutyl phthalate (DBP), formaldehyde resin, camphor, xylene, ethyl tosylamide, parabens, lead, or animal ingredients. Our Lacquer Products are formulated to be 7 free. This means there is no formaldehyde, toluene, dibutyl phthalate (DBP), formaldehyde resin, camphor, xylene, or ethyl tosylamide. 

Why is DBP-Free so important?

DBP stands for Dibutyl Phthalate that has been linked to cancer and birth defects. Due to the severity of these side effects DBP is a chemical that has been banned in the European Union. It has also been listed as a suspected teratogen in California Prop 65.
